Memorable characters that are rather stereotypical and one-dimensional. Pulse-quickening plot that is implausible and at times doesn't even make sense. As a first book in a series, it doesn't quite deliver.

I felt the actions of the Vice President were not realistic. They displayed a bias of the type of response some people would expect from the government, but I don't believe that the scenario set up would result in those actions.

Absolutely wonferful

This is the first time I've read Baldacci's book. It certainly won't be my last!!

I love the characters, the plot and the way Baldacci's writing style. Onto another Baldacci book.
